Lucero's official Telemundo debut happens on Sunday, Sept. 14.

"Yo Soy El Artista" will kick off at 8 p.m. in both the United States and Latin America.

The show will be broken up into three segments, notes Telemundo, and a contestant can only continue if three out of the five judges votes for them. The judges are Olga Tañon, Luis Fonsi, Stephanie Himonidis, who is known as La Chiquibaby, and Mario Quintero Lara.

There will be a total of 120 contestants vying for the final 14 spots. One hundred social media leaders and the judges will decide who gets to move forward. The show is not just about looking for singers. The judges want them to be well rounded, and contestants have the opportunity to showcase their talent during the show's 13-week run.

The 14 will be going to Tañon's artist school, where they will have acting, voice and dancing instructors.

It will be going head-to-head with Univision's "Va Por Ti," a music reality show that premiered Sept. 7. The shows are likely to be compared, though "Va Por Ti" is solely focusing on singing ability.

Tañon wants the show to serve as a learning experience.

"I want the contestants to understand that they need to sacrifice in this life," she said. "Enjoy it because many of us didn't have an opportunity like this."

For the premiere, Juan Luis Guerra will be on hand as a special guest star.

More than 4,000 people auditioned in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Puerto Rico and Orlando.

The #YoSoyelInfluencer Summit will also happen during the influencers stay in Orlando. There, social media leaders, the media and TV personalities will take part in a two-day panel, where they will talk about social media trends and the digital world as a whole.
