While attending this year's American Music Awards, "Orange Is the New Black" actress Taylor Schilling offered some prison advice for "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice, who is due to serve 15 months behind bars, Access Hollywood reports.

When asked to share some advice for Giudice, who is scheduled to report to prison in January, Schilling, the actress behind Piper Chapman on "OITNB," jokingly responded to Access Hollywood.

"Keep to yourself and find a few allies," she said. "Don't mess around too much. She needs to watch herself."

Schilling's piece of advice follows Giudice's recent conviction of bank fraud and conspiracy last month, Access Hollywood reports.

Following her conviction, TMZ reported that the reality TV star would spend her 15-month sentence in the same Connecticut prison that "Orange Is the New Black" writer served out her time.

With one month remaining until she reports to prison, Giudice has been allegedly soaking up all the time she has left during the holiday season with her children, WebProNews reports.

People reports that Giudice has opted not to hire a nanny so that she can spend ample amount of time with her children.

"She's running back and forth with the four kids," a People source said. "She doesn't even have a nanny. Her life is her kids and maintaining a happy home. Every day she's trying to make them such a priority. ... What is to come in the future is going to be hard, there's no question. Nobody is a substitute for Mom."

Once Giudice is released from jail, she will begin working on her working on her own cooking show produced by Bravo and will appear part-time on "RHONJ," the Daily Mail reports.

Bravo and Giudice have yet to confirm the news of an alleged cooking show. However, the Daily Mail claims that Giudice will earn $2 million a year from the show.
