Capcom posted a teaser trailer for "Street Fighter V" on the company's YouTube channel today but removed the video before most people could see it, reports Gamespot.

"Street Fighter" producer Yoshinori Ono is in Las Vegas for Sony's PlayStation Experience, where it is expected we'll hear more about "Street Fighter V," reports Engadget. Fans of the "Street Fighter" series are eager to learn more about the character lineup, release date, pre-order bonuses and to see the game in action.

In June, Ono said "Street Fighter V" was still in the early development stages and, despite rumors, will not be "pay-to-win."

What we do know for certain-thanks to the prematurely posted trailer-is that "Street Fighter V" is available exclusively for PlayStation 4 and PC gamers.

The teaser trailer nor Ono have revealed a release date.

Geek reports that fans could be waiting until 2016 for the "Street Fighter V" launch, although 2015 should be possible since the game is being produced for only two platforms. It's possible PS4 will get the game first with a PC version to follow a few months later.

The "Street Fighter" video game series has been one of Capcom's most profitable, especially during the 1990s.

The current installment, "Ultra Street Fighter IV," made its debut in 2008 and had multiple releases in both platforms and versions. It gave gamers a selection of exciting new characters and is available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

The "Ultra Street Fighter IV" was a welcome gift to fans who had been without a new edition for quite some time. It seems Capcom is dedicated to reviving the defunct series with the upcoming "Street Fighter V" and August announcement that rappers Drake and Lil Wayne would be performing a two-month "Street Fighter"-themed concert sponsored by Capcom.  The rappers battled in the style of the video game on stage while concertgoers helped "power up" their chosen fighter using an interactive iOS and Android app.
