The new year is here to stay, and that means NBA 2K15 is probably wanting gamers to stay too. That's why the game is constantly evolving and coming out with new features and players.

When New Year's Day hit, NBA 2K15 was already giving out some special players for the game. A prime rendition of Chris Bosh (the 2009-2010 version) and the 2001-2002 version of Andrew Miller were ready to be added to the My Team mode.

A special Onyx LeBron (James) was made available the same day, if gamers were quick to enter the code. Taking a look at his player card, this was the LeBron from the Miami Heat days. A 99 layup and 98 dunk rating is as good as the players get these days.

If gamers watch the NBA2KTV YouTube program, which runs about 10 minutes, they can receive some special goodies. It's jam-packed with information on the game and some nice highlight videos. At the end of the video, gamers are rewarded with "a special holiday bonus." Hint: the Locker Code comes at the 9:45 mark of the video.

Finally, if gamers have not been able to buy the game yet, they now have an even better incentive to do so. From now until Jan. 15, they can get $20 worth of in-game bonus cash with the purchase of NBA 2K15.
