Bruce Jenner is reportedly scheduled for an interview with Diane Sawyer to come out to public as transgender.

Us Weekly recently reported that Jenner, who was spotted out wearing a bra and Spanx, is going through a sex change: he had Adam's apple surgery, started taking the female hormone pills, removed his leg hair, grew his hair long and began painting his nails. The publication added that the former Olympian had already started getting plastic surgery and began the transformation in the early '90s, when he met his now-divorced wife Kris, who talked him out of it at the time.

TMZ soon reported that E! has been filming a docu-series about Jenner's "journey" over the last few months.

"The footage is a very personal look from Bruce's vantage point of the process of changing. Multiple sources say the documentary will include interaction with Bruce's kids and ex-wife Kris and how they are receiving the news," TMZ said.

Before the airing of his reality series, the patriarch of the notorious clan plans to sit down with the ABC News journalist Sawyer to candidly open up about his big decision to transition into a woman. According to BuzzFeed, the interview will air in May.

Meanwhile, Kris is reportedly upset about her ex-husband's sex change.

"[Kris] immediately wants to get back home and sit everyone down and figure out what the hell is going on. She's preparing a family intervention and she means business!" a source told HollywoodLife.com"Paris was supposed to be fun, but it's turned into Kris' worst nightmare because of all the drama back home and she's not there to control it. Kris understands Bruce has a story to tell, but she feels the girls need to let her in on what's going on with their father so she can help the situation. She's used to having the authority and knowing everything that's going on in her family's life but when it comes to Bruce and the phases and changes he's going through, she's in the dark."
