Sarah Palin fired back at hecklers as she left the "Saturday Night Live" 40th anniversary party early Monday morning, taunting them with retorts of "get a job."

TMZ reports the former vice presidential candidate and Alaskan governor further chastised her tormentors by unequivocally letting them know she was winning the battle of insults based on what side of the velvet rope each of them was standing on.

And if that wasn't enough, the 51-year-old Palin was sure to come dressed for the part. Dressed in the same sparkling white mini dress her daughter wore to the 2011 White House Correspondents dinner nearly four years ago, Palin told US Weekly "I'm wearing all Bristol."

"Everything I have, I borrowed from Bristol," she added. "Her [bag], her dress. It's something left over from "Dancing With the Stars," but her shoes, she made me give her a deposit before I wore her shoes. She was like, 'Mom, these are like red soles and you don't mess with them unless you're on the red carpet, otherwise you pay for them.'"

During the show, Palin participated in a Q&A session manned by renowned comedian Jerry Seinfeld. "No figure is too high," Seinfeld told Palin when she inquired as to "how much the SNL crew should pay her to run for President," provided all the endless material such a candidacy might offer for the show.

"What if I were to choose Donald Trump as my running mate," she answered, to which Seinfeld responded "Sarah you're teasing us, that's not nice."

Since teaming with John McCain on the 2008 GOP ticket, Palin has become a consistent target of SNL's barbs. Comedian Tiny Fey has parlayed her impersonation of Palin into worldwide superstardom even Palin has been forced to take note of.

"I really respect her work ethic and her capitalization of the opportunity," Palin told US Weekly." I do a double-take whenever I see a rerun or a picture of her, really."
