Those of you who are struggling to get your next paycheck can take heart: there are, indeed, people out there who are richer than you will ever be.

Meet the Rich Guys of Instagram -- led by Persian Humaid AlBuQaish -- who are members of the mega-wealthy young cadre in the Gulf States in the Middle East. Their latest symbol of wealth? According to The Daily Mail, lions.

Pictures of AlBuQaish -- who boasts more than 250,000 followers on Instagram -- show him demonstrating both his extreme wealth (luxury cars, speedboats, and mansions are all de rigueur for the Middle Eastern mogul) and his extreme cats (some photos show AlBuQaish with his head in the outstretched mouth of his Kings of the Jungle).

According to the Daily Bhakar, however, not all of AlBuQaish's followers are enthralled with his escapades. “'If someone buys a very expensive animal, he is boasting that he has enough money to get anything he wants," said Jasim Ali, who runs the Ras Al Khaimah Wildlife Park in the United Arab Emirates and he adopts and cares for those animals that are discarded once they become too large and dangerous for their boastful owners. "If he has a tamed wild animal like a lion, he is trying to show off that he is brave. But this is not courage; this is animal rights abuse."
