A trio of Walt Disney World employees were among at least 23 people recently arrested on sex crime charges, some of them involving minors, as part of a Valentine's Day weekend police sting operation.

According to The Orlando Sentinel, Walt Disney World employees Robert Kingsolver, 49, Patrick Holgerson, 32, and Joel Torres, 32, were all taken into custody on sex charges that included traveling to meet up with a minor.

Disney spokesperson Marilyn Waters told reporters all three employees have been placed on unpaid leave, pending the outcome of ongoing police investigations.

The probe was conducted over a week-long period, and in at least one of the instances alleged perpetrator Alexander Vorobets, an Orlando strip club valet attendant, arrived carrying a McDonald's Happy Meal and a condom for his intended 13-year-old victim.

Another suspect, 47-year-old David Griffith, told authorities he planned to meet with a 7-year-old for sex in an undisclosed county. Detectives later confirmed that planned meeting by wading through emails exchanged between Griffith and the child's mother, who allegedly has a history of abusing her young daughter.

Among other suspects nabbed in the probe dubbed operation "Be Mine" by investigators were a National Guard soldier and an Orange County paramedic. Reportedly, one of the suspects was already a registered sex offender.

The operation was the third carried out by the cybercrimes unit of the Lake County Sheriff's Office and has resulted in the arrest of at least 100 suspects in recent years.

"They never learn," said Lake County Sheriff Gary Borders. "We'll continue to work these operations and put them in jail."

Investigators added some of the other suspects arrived for their encounters carrying such enticing items for their young prey as jewelry, chocolate candy bars, bottles of flavored vodka and marijuana.
