George Zimmerman can't seem to stay out of trouble since being acquitted of killing Trayvon Martin: yesterday, the Florida "neighborhood watchman" was arrested after his pregnant girlfriend accused him of attacking her. But supporters of the murderer can take heart -- according to the Miami affiliate of CBS News, he's posted the $9,000 bond set for him, and is currently a free man.

Even though he is out on bond, Zimmerman -- who, according to NBC News, was accused of choking his pregnant girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, as well as brandishing a gun in her face -- is not allowed to carry firearms or ammunition, cannot contact his girlfriend (or return to their home), cannot travel outside the state of Florida, and must wear an electronic tracking device to keep track of all of his movements pending the outcome of the trial.

This is the latest in the string of bad luck that Zimmerman has encountered since his acquittal in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin: while he was in jail for this crime, his estranged wife Shellie -- who also faced charges of perjury during the Trayvon Martin trial -- served him with divorce papers. Asked about this latest dust-up, Shellie responded that she was "saddened...but unfortunately not surprised."

According to the 911 call released by police, Zimmerman is said to have broken Scheibe's glass table and sunglasses while brandishing an AK-47 in her face. When Scheibe asked him to leave, Zimmerman responded by violently pushing her out the door and locking her out of her own house. Despite this, however, Zimmerman's defense attorney Daniel Megaro claims he is not a dangerous man. "I don’t think he’s going to hurt himself or anyone else," he said during the bail hearing.

Unlike the Trayvon Martin case, when he hired the best attorneys money could by to defend him, Zimmerman's current attorneys are public defenders. He is claiming to be broke, indigent, and in massive debt, owing his previous attorneys over $2.5 million.
