The 2015 Premios TV y Novelas nominees have been released.

There are 21 categories for the awards that will air on March 8 in Mexico. The show will be hosted by Andrea Legarreta and Galilea Montijo.

Most of the categories are deal with telenovelas, and there are four shows going up for Best Telenovela. "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó," "Yo No Creo En Los Hombres," "Mi Corazón Es Tuyo," "El Color de la Pasión" and "Que Pobres Tan Ricos" will be competing for the title.

Most of the actors from these shows also received nominations. But telenovelas like "La Gata," "La Malquerida" and "Por Siempre Mi Amor" did get nominations for some cast members, but they will not be competing for Best Telenovela.

"La Gata," which stars Maite Perroni and Daniel Arenas, was compared to Arenas' other telenovela, "Corazon Indomable." The show told the story of a poor woman named Esmeralda. She lives in a landfill and falls in love with Pablo, who is rich. His family does not approve of their relationship, and they try to harm the two.

"La Malquerida" was more controversial because a mother and daughter fall in love with the same man, Esteban. Cristina marries him, and then her daughter, Acacia, has an affair with Esteban.
