Miley Cyrus's older sister Brandi Cyrus, has came to her defense. She explains to Nationalist Magazine that Miley's new image is just a part of the "growing up process". Brandi told the magazine "I think that Miley is getting a chance to be who she really is, after years of having to be a fictional character on TV". You know what? That makes a whole lot of sense actually.

Miley's half sister, who is also a blogger and reporter (I know, she's on the other side of the business), defense her little sister's "originality". "I also know from experience that your 20's are full of things that shape who you are", Brandi continued, "and it takes awhile to figure it all out. I'm 26 and I'm still learning who I am and who I want to be. Miley is in the very beginning of that journey".

Guess that can justify the transition from "Hannah Montana" to twerking Miley, either way it's super sweet for her entire family to always defend her. The Cyrus family really stands together even through all of the criticism. Reminds you of another famous family in the industry, doesn't it? Don't get any ideas Miley, you already made it, you don't need a sex tape.

Brandi Cyrus, who caused a media frenzy (in a good way) at this year's AMA's, has proven to be the classy well-behaved sister. Once self-proclaimed the "forgotten Cyrus" Brandi has also came a long way. The "star thing" seems to be Billy Ray's and Miley's thing, the rest of the family just likes to get involved in the business, but in a different way. "The Wrecking Ball" singer is lucky to have the support of her family through these times of being titled one of the most "Annoying People of 2013".  But on a serious note, good for these sisters, Miley just turned 21 and lives in a world where young celebrities can be driven into some dark things. Having a good role model like Brandi could be what keeps her grounded and away from trouble.
