The cars and drivers of "Furious 7" parachuted from planes, raced off ramps and endured head-on collisions in the joy-riding franchise.

The Telegraph reports that only 10 percent of the film's action scenes were computer generated, which explains why many of 340 cars used in the film were reduced to trash.

According to Dennis McCarthy, the man who modified the cars used in "Furious 7," each vehicle had a 500-horsepower fuel injection unit and a three-speed manual transmission – allowing the stunt team to orchestrate each action scene without knowing the peculiarities of each vehicle and minimizing the use of spare parts.

Let's take a look at the fantastic cars that starred in "Furious 7" alongside Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson and Michelle Rodriguez.

The Lykan HyperSport

The Lebanese-based company W Motors makes the stunning Lykan HyperSport, the Middle East's first supercar. It is the most expensive vehicle featured in the "Furious 7" film and the third most expensive car in the world, according to The Telegraph. In the U.S., it sells for $3.4 million.

The headlights on this supercar are illuminated with white gold, diamonds and sapphires.

The HyperSport's maximum speed is 240mph. It accelerates from zero to 60mph in less than three seconds.

W Motors lent McCarthy molds of the car so that he could make six exact models from fiberglass rather than original's carbon fiber. A Porsche Boxster chassis was used for the models.

Dominic Toretto (played by Diesel) destroyed one of the Lykan HyperSports while jumping the car from one Abu Dhabi skyscraper to another.

Aston Martin DB9

The Aston Martin DB9 was the car of the film's British villain, Ian Shaw (played by Jason Statham).

Shaw's Aston Martin is involved in a head-on collision with Toretto's Dodge Charger in the movie.

The head-on collision was pulled off by attaching cables to the cars and driving the cars into each other using remote control. Each car was travelling at 40mph.

"It was awesome," McCarthy told The Telegraph. "It shook the ground like an earthquake."

Bugatti Veyron

The Guinness Book of Records confirms that the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport version is the fastest street-legal production car in the world. It has a top speed of 267.856 mph.

It is the car of choice for the fast-talking and flashy Roman Pearce (played by Tyrese Gibson) in "Furious 7."

2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Tej Parker (played by recording artist Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges) drives an armored 2015 Jeep Wrangler in the movie.

1970 Dodge Charger

A modified version of 1970 Dodge Charger, the signature car of Dominic Toretto, was one of five cars that parachuted out of a Lockheed C-130 Hercules plane in "Furious 7." The scene was filmed above the Arizona desert.

Military-grade parachutes were used to drop one Charger from 12,000 feet and another from 8,000 feet.

Nine versions of the Charger were created for the film.

Fans may remember that Toretto's Charger was introduced in the first "Fast and Furious" film. It belonged to his father.

Maximus Ultra-Charger

McCarthy acquired Toretto's modified brushed-metal 1968 Dodge Charger at the Specialty Equipment Market Association show in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Charger, designed by Scott Spock Racing and Nelson Racing Engines, boasts a 2000-horsepower engine. Its top speed is 260mph. The classic muscle car is valued at more than $1 million. Letty Ortiz (played by Rodriguez) drives the ultra-charger as she saves Brian O'Conner (played by Walker) from the hellish coach trip.

Plymouth Barracuda

In "Furious 7," Ortiz also got to drive this outstanding 1970 Plymouth 'Cuda that first appeared in "Fast & Furious 6."

Plymouth Road Runner

The Plymouth Road Runner returns in the seventh installment of the movie series. It appeared briefly as a protagonist car in the 2009 "Fast and Furious," and was driven by Ortiz. In that movie, the car rolled over multiple times.

The Road Runner made a comeback in "Fast and Furious 6" as the flashback to how Ortiz died. The car is shown rolled over with Letty crawling out of it. Fenix Calderon (played by Laz Alonso) shoots the Plymouth's fuel tank, causing it to ignite and explode. It is confirmed in the flashback that the car was destroyed.
