Another actor has signed up for a role in the much awaited Fifty Shades of Grey film adaptation which was written by bestselling author E.L. James. Callum Keith Rennie will play the role of Anastasia Steele's stepfather, Ray.

The Variety wrote that the actor just completed shooting a movie alongside Helena Bonham Carter entitled The Young and Prodigious T.S. Spivet. He also finished an indie film called Ride which also stars Helen Hunt.

Other acting credits included in Rennie's resume include Memento, Battlestar Galactica, The Killing, The Firm, and even for Californication, MTV.com wrote.

Other stars who have also been added to the list of the Fifty Shades of Grey cast aside from the leads Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are Rita Ora, Marcia Gay Hayden, Jennifer Ehle, Luke Grimes and Eloise Mumford among many others.

On other news, the film adaptation has started shooting in Vancouver for the first scene which needed the work of around 200 cast and crew members, according to People.com. The first scene included the lead characters Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey having coffee together to get to know each other.

According to Erin Heather, the co-owner of the café location, the tiny and simple scene turned out to be one huge production. It was also monumental for it was the first time Jamie and Dakota worked together on set of the movie. She shared that the two actors were exuding "good energy."

Erin also added an interesting trivia for the Fifty Shades of Grey Vancouver set that there were 44 lattes made just within that day for the character of billionaire Christian Grey.

Mirror UK recently reported that the on-screen couple of the Fifty Shades of Grey movie were captured having a good kissing scene for the sexy film adaptation. Check out the video below to get a teaser of the first kiss shared by the characters on set!
