On Wednesday, April 8, Murray posted an Instagram photo of himself, Iaconetti and plenty of other females on what appeared to be a group date.

Murray wrote in the photo's caption that he enjoyed himself in New York City and became new friends with Iaconetti.

Instagram users immediately responded to the photo and showed a mix of support and disapproval over the alleged couple, which prompted Murray to clarify his comment.

People reports Murray left a comment under the photo insisting that he and Iaconetti are just friends and "nothing more." He explained that the two met up with some other friends after his AdvoCare speaking engagement.

"Ya'll are too funny over here, these are FRIENDS, nothing more, it's ok to have guy and girl friends, don't read into it that much," he wrote. "It was after a big AdvoCare event I had for my team, all about helping others and meeting new people. Hopefully I can meet all of you one day as well!"

Meanwhile, Iaconetti initially denied going on a group date with Murray on Twitter.

However, when she spoke to TMZ she revealed that Murray reached out to her for what she thought would be a group date.

Murray's rumored romance with Iaconetti comes on the heels of his split from "The Bachelorette" star Andi Dorfman.

The two called off their engagement in January, and since then, Murray has said that he and Dorfman no longer speak.

"She lives in New York and I'm in Atlanta and I've been very, very busy, as I'm sure she has a hectic schedule," he recent told OK!  "We really don't have much time to really speak much."
