Thursday's episode of "WWE SmackDown" will feature two former Shield members in one-on-one competition, and the finish may surprise some viewers.

After a promo to kickoff the show, Roman Reigns and Kane have a one-on-one match. The match, however, ends via countout when Kane decides to walk away. Damien

Sandow is next, and he wrestles against Curtis Axel. Sandow wins.

The third match of the night is Ryback against Luke Harper. After Ryback's victory, Bray Wyatt once again attacks Ryback, and in a similar fashion to "Monday Night Raw," he plants Sister Abigail on Ryback.

The WWE Tag Team Championship is on the line as new champs The New Day defend their titles against Cesaro and Tyson Kidd. Xavier Woods interfers in the match while Cesaro did the "Big Swing," which resulted in a disqualification. The New Day are still the WWE Tag Team Champions.

In a backstage promo, Cameron and Summer Rae are discussing Naomi's victory against Brie Bella during "Monday Night Raw." Divas Champion Nikki Bella walk into the conversation and a new match is set between Cameron and Nikki.

In what was described as "your basic Divas one-one-one bout," Nikki defeats Cameron in their non-title match.

In a dark segment, meaning it will not air on broadcast television, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins speaks to the crowd before his match against Ambrose. In proper heel-fashion, Rollins belittles the city and tries to egg the audience to boo him. Despite the efforts, Rollins still received cheers.

It was main-event time with Rollins facing his former Shield brethren Dean Ambrose. Rollins performed his new finishing move -- further solidifying the WWE's decision to ban the Curb Stomp. The finish was said to be "in fairly clean style." After the match, Roman Reigns came to save Ambrose since Rollins continued to attack him.

Reigns and Rollins are in a triple-threat match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship with Randy Orton at "WWE Payback." John Cena will also defend his United States Championship against Rusev in an "I Quit" match. No other matches were confirmed during the taping.

Bad News Barrett did not appear on "SmackDown" despite winning the King of the Ring tournament this week on the WWE Network, but highlights of the win will likely air on Thursday.
