There is still hope fans! New York's popular foursome could be returning for one more adventure.

The rumor mill is churning as Sarah Jessica Parker hints in the latest February issue of InStyle that there could be a "Sex and the City" reunion!

"A part of me thinks there is one last chapter to tell," Parker was quoted saying. "But timing is a peculiar thing. It isn't a decision that can wait forever. I don't want to have to wear muumuus!"

This is the second mention of a possible "Sex and the City 3" following Kristen Davis' comment in Haute Living back in December.

"I don't think [a third film] is a pipe dream, there is discussion. People talk about it amongst the people who are the players, but I don't know if it will come together. It would be very exciting if it did."

The 48-year old actress who plays Carrie Bradshaw seems to be open to the possibility of a reunion, along with Davis. However, co-star Cynthia Nixon did say she was happy to let Sex and the City go.

Eonline.com reveals when Davis heard the opinion of Nixon, responded, "I'm going to have a little talk with Cynthia the next time I see her!"

Sex and the City is an American sitcom that was produced by HBO and created by Darren Star. The series was based on the book of Candace Bushnell and followed the lives of four best friends. The show was well received by the public due to its quirkiness and was considered quite risqué during its time. The show tackled different issues and featured the diverse sex lives of the four characters.

Sex and The City aired from 1998-2004 with six successful seasons totaling 94 episodes. The first movie was released in 2008 with a sequel in 2010. Although the first film was a success, critics didn't take to the series sequel too well.
