One Direction is busy working on their next album. Despite Zayn Malik's absence, Harry Styles told Ryan Seacrest during a recent radio interview that their "creative process" is still "very similar."

“It was cool how some of the things came out sounding because, actually, there were a lot of parts that, kind of, needs to get written with Zayn in mind and with all of us in mind,” Styles said. “It is great. The new stuff sounds good so far, I think. I hope. So, we hope that people like it.”

Although loyal 1D fans will always have a space for Malik’s angelic voice in their hearts, the remaining boys, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and Niall Horan, will clearly work hard to impress their fans. Although Styles has been known to be a fantastically skilled song writer, he has admitted that they are all busy penning songs for their fifth album.

“We all enjoy writing so much that sometimes you write a song that just does not necessarily work,” he added. “So, I think we are all just having a lot of fun writing. We have the album and the tour that we are working on right now. And, I think when you have so many goals that you feel you have yet to achieve, it is, kind of, hard to see past those.”

The British heartthrob has always been followed by rumors, which claim that he's planning to follow Malik’s footsteps sometime soon. But, according to him, the only thing that he would like to do as of the moment is to “focus on what is going on and do not lose track.”

“We are all working hard toward the same thing right now. I do not think we are thinking much past that,” he added.

One Direction has certainly been busy of late, especially since Malik’s exit. They've been working on their album during their spare time and they are going to be on the road again pretty soon, with several shows scheduled in Europe throughout June and in North America in July.

“We are just about to start touring again, which we love,” Styles added. “So, it is going great right now. Morale is good.” It appears that Styles has continued to love what he is doing with the rest of the band and that he is staying put – for now.
