It has not even been half a year yet since “Resident Evil HD” was released, but it would appear that Capcom is ready to launch the game that is next in line, “Resident Evil 0 HD.” The company made the official announcement through its official YouTube channel.

According to the official announcement, “Resident Evil 0 HD” will be available for gamers who are using eighth and seventh generation consoles, such as PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. To date, only very little detail has been provided by Capcom regarding the upcoming game. However, it has been reported that the game will be featured in the upcoming E3 event – much to the delight of “Resident Evil” gamers.

Capcom is actually quite famous for remastering and re-launching its most popular and most highly played games. “Resident Evil HD” featured highly improved visuals, as well as new camera angles, as compared to its predecessors. That said, it is assumed that, once “Resident Evil 0 HD” is out in the market, it will be even better.

The success of “Resident Evil HD” – with a total gross sales of more than 1 million units – compelled and inspired Capcom to continue with their remastering formula, which later led to the announcement regarding “Resident Evil 0 HD.”

“Resident Evil 0,” meanwhile, was critically acclaimed by gamers, and was also a financial success for the company. Eventually, the game was made playable for the Wii console – with added motion controls as bonuses. However, Game Rant has reported that “Resident Evil 0 HD” has been made available for non-Nintendo consoles – a first for the “Resident Evil 0” game.

Most classic games have already developed a huge following over the years, and the “Resident Evil” franchise is one of them. These fans will be understandably willing to purchase a remastered version for the opportunity of being able to play their beloved game with improved visuals and gameplay.

Gamers have to characters to look forward to, namely Rebecca Chambers and Billy Coen. Players can actually make the switch from one character to another anytime they want.

Fortunately for the fans, they have the game’s official trailer to help them get by while waiting for the game’s actual release date.

The trailer shows certain scenes early into the game, which take place on the train that has been infested by leeches -- in addition to the game’s iconic lumbering zombies. STARS rookie Rebecca Chambers will be joining the other members of the Bravo Team as they look into the cannibalistic murders that occurred in the Arklay Mountains.
