Famous (or infamous) couple Kanye West and Kim Kardashian encountered trouble Sunday when an 18-year-old  guy assaulted Kim with racial slur, calling the reality TV star a 'nigger lover.' Daily News reports that West may be facing assault charges after punching the guy inside a doctor's office.

The unnamed teenager turned from being a gallant gentleman one second to a racist heckler the next moment with Kim K, prompting West to defend his fiancée.  According to People, the Yeezus rapper has been named as a suspect by the 18-year-old victim and by witnesses. Beverly Hills Police are still investigating the incident, but the victim is reportedly adamant that he will be filing charges against West.

The incident began with Kim K arriving at the location for a meeting with West, allegedly to pick new furniture. With a hornet's nest of paparazzi tailing her, the victim behaved gallantly at first, opening the door to the building for Kim and cursing the paparazzi with racial and homophobic obscenities for bothering her. But when the starlet admonished the teen for his disrespectful language, he turned his aggression towards her, screaming, "F--k you b---h. Just trying to help you. Shut up n----r lover, stupid slut," according to Daily Mail.  The 18-year-old victim then started behaving quite badly, hurling more verbal insults against Kim and Kanye. When West finally appeared to rescue his lady love, the offensive teen ran to a chiropractor's office in the building, with the couple hot on his heels. In the office, West allegedly punched the victim and Kim reportedly yelled, "We have it all on tape!" (Take a look here).

Kanye West is known for having a temper. He has a history of getting into scuffles with the paparazzi, such as incident in 2008 when he confronted photographers at LAX. Though charges were dismissed against the rapper, he had to take anger management classes.  In the same year, he also got in trouble with photographers in the UK. Just last year, in July 2013, West wrestled with a photographer at LAX, and the case remains unresolved.  The Sunday encounter is the rapper's first brush against the law this year, and here's hoping it will be the last, at least for the sake of baby North.
