Lil Wayne would have fans believe that onetime mentor Birdman's incompetence knows no boundaries.

According to TMZ, in newly filed court documents in their ongoing legal dispute over Young Money, the "Glory" rapper contends Birdman and his Cash Money cronies are so in over their heads in running the show. So much so that Lil Wayne believes the company is about to lose mainstays Nicki Minaj and Drake because of it.

Wayne adds that label execs have "grossly mismanaged the company by stiffing lots of people who are owed money" and failing to pay out profits as have been earned.

Jas Prince, the man credited with discovering Drake, also recently filed suit against Cash Money, alleging that to date he's only pocketed $2 million for his find, just a fraction of what he insists he was promised or the multimillions Drake has generated for the label.

Altogether, TMZ estimates that the "Started From the Bottom" artist has earned at least $40 million for Cash Money over the last several years.

For her part, Minaj has tried to take a neutral stance in it all. Back in February, Birdman was denied entrance into her pre-Grammy party, but she went out of her way to insist it was just a case of bad timing and not a sign of her taking sides in the increasingly bitter dispute between he and Wayne.

Sources close to Minaj told TMZ Birdman was only turned away because his posse was looking to order bottle service, and the club was closing in 15 minutes. What's more, they say Minaj had already left the building when he tried to enter the club.

As the dispute has simmered, Wayne has indicated he plans to take both Minaj and Drake if and when he's able to free himself from the label.
