Brody Jenner, son of Caitlyn Jenner from a previous marriage, commented on Scott Disick's dark past when asked about his split from Kourtney Kardashian.

"Scott and Kourtney both are great," Jenner told Entertainment Tonight. "Obviously Scott has gone through some issues in the past [but] he has worked through them."

Kardashian ended the relationship after Disick spent the Fourth of July weekend partying and was photographed hanging out with his ex-girlfriend in France.

He and celebrity stylist Chloe Bartoli were spotted taking turns feeding each other on a yacht. A witness said Disick looked like he was in a "drunken mess."

"When I saw those pictures I said, 'Uh-oh,'" Jenner told Hoda Kotb on the Today Show. "I even showed my girlfriend and said, 'This isn't good.' But it's unfortunate."

The couple has been dating since 2006. They have three children together and never married.

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West stepped in to help Kourtney with the kids on the Fourth of July weekend while Disick partied away from home, according to Page Six.

The Wests spent time in New York City with Kourtney and Disick's first child, 5-year-old Mason. The toddler had fun with Kimye and his 2-year-old cousin North West on J.R. and Loren Ridinger's yacht.

"Kanye took Mason and Sophia to the movies after Kim and Larsa went to lunch at Cipriani," a source said.

Kourtney stayed home with her two younger children, 3-year-old Penelope and infant Reign.

Disick battled with alcoholism throughout their relationship while Kourtney tried to make things work. He spent a week in rehab in Costa Rica but went back to his same old ways soon after.

Their rocky relationship has been chronicled on the hit series "Kourtney and Khloé Take the Hamptons" where Disick was once hospitalized for alcohol poisoning.

Will they rekindle their flame if Disick honestly seeks real help this time? Or is Kourtney really done after nine years in their relationship?
