It's a girl... or is it? Kevin Jonas of the Jonas Brothers and his wife, Danielle Deleasa, welcomed a baby girl yesterday... and rumors have surfaced that the baby is a fake!

According to the IB Times, the 26-year-old Jonas and his wife announced on Twitter that they had a girl, Alena Rosa, on Sunday. Jonas actually live tweeted the birth of his daughter while she was being born, posting such announcements as “I’m so excited #BabyJonasIsComing,” and “Here we go we’re pushing!!!! #babyjonas."

But here's what's interesting about the posts: they were sponsored by Dreft, the baby laundry detergent company. And that sponsorship was what prompted some fans to speculate that the pregnancy was all a fake... even though Jonas announced his wife's pregnancy beginning in July of last year.

The speculation came as a result of a posting on a website called BlindGossip. The site reported that the stars of Married to Jonas were faking their pregnancy all along. The site claimed that the couple were using a prosthetic baby bump to act like they were pregnant in the hopes of getting all sorts of endorsement deals (let's also not forget the fact that they got a cover of FitPregnancy as a result of the pregnancy). Supposedly, Jonas was planning to suffer from a “miscarriage” during her second trimester or announce that the child was “stillborn.” "They are frantic that we have exposed their lie,” reads an updated BlindGossip.com report, adding that the entire Jonas clan was “in” on the alleged fib.

Now, this is not the first time a celebrity has been accused of faking a pregnancy. Most notably, Beyoncé Knowles was accused of faking her pregnancy with Blue Ivy Carter, her first daughter with rapper Jay-Z.

Regardless of the validity of the pregnancy, we wish Kevin and his wife all the best! You can check out a video of the couple's baby here: https://youtu.be/7uvsDEsDkJU.
