Weight issues have held a place in Hollywood for many years, as the culture of high fashion in Tinseltown has been accepting of, and a fertile ground for, disorders such as anorexia and bulimia. Now one star has come forward to share her own story with weight problems.

Eva Longoria, most notable for her star role in ABC's hit show "Desperate Housewives," spoke on Friday's episode of "The Dr. Oz Show" about her struggles with eating after her divorce to San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker in 2011.

"I was not eating. I was depressed. I was sad. My diet was coffee," Longoria explains, adding that ironically this was "the time I got the most compliments, because I was so skinny."

The divorce from Parker was especially tough on Longoria due to his infidelity throughout their relationship. Though she was crushed on the inside, her drastic weight loss seemed to cover her pain.

"People kept saying, 'You look amazing. Divorce agrees with you,'" she recalls. "And I was like, 'I don't feel good. I have no energy.' I didn't know I was depressed. I mean, I knew it was a sad moment in my life, but I wouldn't categorize myself as depressed."

Of course, Longoria was far from amazing, and her health was in serious decline. By the time she realized something was wrong and went in to see her doctor, Longoria had serious vitamin deficiency issues and an over-reactive liver to attend to.

Since that time she has gotten her weight and health back on track, and the "Ready For Love" host is feeling better than ever. Some have even reported that her love life might be in better health as well with whispers that she is dating her co-host Ernesto Arguello, a rumor that Longoria was quick to deny on her Twitter account.

"Sorry @ernestoarguello is NOT dating me, but u can see who he is dating on #ReadyForLove tomorrow night on NBC after #TheVoice!"

Though she is living with Arguello currently, the arrangement seems to be purely platonic. There has also been speculation that Longoria may have even found love with someone else on the show, but for now she is keeping her love life quiet and focusing on a positive, healthy lifestyle.
