"Fifty Shades Darker" may contain more uncut sex scenes and may show more skin.

Movie News Guide suggests that the new film might include more uncut sex scenes especially after fans were disappointed by the way the sex scenes in the first installment were portrayed. While “Fifty Shades of Grey” made well over $100 million, the sex scenes were criticized for being more on style and glamour and less raw as audiences expected.

The news also comes after a source revealed to Star Magazine that actor Jamie Dornan was offered $1.5 million to appear in a full frontal scene for the next film, according to reports. The actor did not want to do it for the first film and he told Entertainment Tonight, “As a guy you put all your essentials in a little bag and you tie it up like a little bag of grapes and it’s tucked away. It’s a peculiar thing to do every day.”

The new film is currently in pre-production and it is already rumored that new characters will show up. For example, Jack Hyde will be introduced as Anastasia’s new boss while Elena Lincoln, also known as Mrs. Robinson, will also be introduced in the sequel. This character was offered to Charlize Theron but the actress has yet to commit while Tom Hiddleston is rumored to play Hyde. Cara Delevingne is rumored to play Leila Williams, an old lover of Christian's, but nothing is yet confirmed.

Dornan is set to reprise his role in the new installment while Dakota Johnson will play Anastasia Steele. Universal is currently seeking a director as Sam Taylor-Johnson has decided not to return for the sequel. Niall Leonard is set to adapt the book while Dana Brunetti, Michael De Luca and E.L. James will produce.

“Fifty Shades Darker” is set to hit theaters on Feb. 10, 2017.
