Manchester City is going all out for Wolfsburg attacker Kevin De Bruyne.

According to Mirror UK, City has upped their previous £39 million bid for De Bruyne to £47 million.

With the upgraded offer in place, City now expects the 24-year-old to inform his current club that he will be leaving for England.

It can be recalled that De Bruyne declined Wolfsburg's extension deal worth £150,000 a week. In Manchester City, the Belgian forward will be able to earn £200,000 a week in the next five seasons.

Wolfsburg's sporting director Klaus Allofs admitted in an interview with Kicker Magazine via Talk Sport that De Bruyne is tempted by the offers.

"I think some other clubs have definitely turned Kevin's head," Allofs explained. "Some huge figures are doing the rounds and I can understand why Kevin is leaving everything open.

"He's got to listen to the offers. I can't expect from him that he doesn't even want to entertain them. If he was only contracted to us until 2017, then yes, it would be different. But let's be honest about it - it's highly unlikely that he'll stay with us right up until 2019," He concluded.

Wolfsburg could prize a higher fee for De Bruyne yet the figure thrown by Manchester City is too enticing to pass up.

It's only a matter of time before De Bruyne will formally inform Wolfsburg of his intent to leave for England. He will first undergo a medical exam before officially joining the Sky Blues.

Gareth Bale Staying at Real Madrid Says Welsh Manager

Amid criticisms and transfer rumors the 26-year-old midfielder has been getting since the start of his second year stint in La Liga, Wales manager Chris Coleman believes his fellow Welshman won't be leaving Real Madrid anytime soon.

Coleman took to Sky Sports' TV program Goals to air out his side on the issue. He rationalized that Bale would be foolhardy to leave a less strenuous league in exchange for the much rougher Premier's League.

"With Balely, if you are that good offensively you are going to get kicked and beat up a bit. The Premier League is the hardest league physically, so, selfishly, when I get him from La Liga he is better physically probably than when he was at Tottenham. The tempo is different in Spain, it's slower," said Coleman.

He squashed recent transfer rumors linking Bale to Man-U. Instead, he expects Bale to blossom in his third season with Real Madrid under the tutelage of Rafa Benitez.
