LeBron James participated in the second day of the USA Basketball minicamp in Las Vegas, but that does not mean the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar will play in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

James officially became a member of the Team USA pool for the 2016 Rio Olympics after showing up in Las Vegas and participated in the drills. He will not play in the intrasquad exhibition game on Thursday, as he has already returned to Ohio to attend to a previous commitment.

But before leaving the camp, James confirmed previous reports that his decision is up in the air because he has to consult his family about it and it depends on how healthy he will be after the 2015-16 NBA season.

"All my decisions go through my family," James said via ESPN. "We'll see how my family feels about it. And then with my health, going another NBA campaign season, as far as my team back home in Cleveland, and I'll go from there."

James made his Olympic debut for USA during the 2004 Olympics, where they finished with the bronze medal. He then led the team to a gold medal finish during the 2008 and 2012 Olympics alongside Los Angeles Clippers superstar Chris Paul.

Paul also attended the minicamp, but he is still unsure about his availability for the 2016 Summer Games. James also said that he will talk to Paul after next season, and there's a chance they might make a joint decision.

"Pretty much everything that we do, for the most part, especially with Team USA, we kind of do together," said James, who also helped USA win the 2006 World Basketball Championships and 2007 FIBA Americas. "We'll see what happens."

USA basketball Jerry Colangelo recently said that James will have an extraordinary chance of winning three consecutive Olympic gold medals. When asked about it, James, who has played in the NBA finals over the past five seasons, said that getting rest might be the best option, especially if the Cavaliers go deep into the playoffs again.

"I've given everything to the NBA. I've given it all to USAB as well," James added. "If I'm fortunate enough, if I'm healthy enough and my family is willing to allow me be a part of it, it'd be great. We'll see where I'm at after the season."
