Miley Cyrus is turning heads once again, but it doesn't have anything to do with her acting or singing career this time. Cyrus recently completed a shoot for "V" Magazine, and the photo spread is far racier than we are used to seeing from the superstar.

The 20-year-old actress-turned-international-pop-phenom with the release of the hit song "Party In The U.S.A." shed quite a bit of clothing for the magazine's May issue. Cyrus doesn't seem to mind shedding her once good girl image:

"I'm going to change, I'm going to be different, I'm going to do what I want to do. I chopped my hair and bought a pair of Docs and never looked back."

The photos come courtesy of "V" photographer Mario Testino, and leave little to the imagination. In one shot she is grasping one of her breasts while in another she looks seductively over her shoulder while revealing her derriere.

The photo shoot comes right as a June issue of "Elle" has been published that contains a candid interview with Cyrus. Ironically, when speaking to "Elle," Cyrus seemed to indicate that she wanted to shy away from becoming a sex symbol.

"A star is someone who doesn't have to take her clothes off to be sexy because you naturally have star power. Sex does sell, but you have to find a way that's not just showing your t--s. I don't want to be a glorified model. They just walk on stage and it's all about their clothes - or lack of clothes," says the former disney star.

Cyrus is currently very busy at the moment, and is working hard to complete her album that is due out this summer. She is working with the world renowned producer Pharrell Williams and has received praise for the hip hop star for her dedication and focus.

Miley's cover issue of "V" magazine does not hit stores until May 9, but photos of the racy shoot have already hit the internet, and can be viewed here
