A Pennsylvania teen was abducted from him home in the suburbs of Philadelphia on Sunday by a group of armed men who killed him and then dumped his body on the side of the road.

Police in West Pottsgrove were dispatched to respond to reports of a home invasion at approximately 2:00pm on Sunday afternoon. According to reports, a group of armed men forced entry into the house on the 1200 block of Manatawny Street, where 19-year-old Kareem Ali Borowy lived with his family.

According to authorities the group of men demanded cash from Borowy and then kidnapped the teen from his home at gunpoint. Approximately 30 minutes later police received a second 911 call from a passing motorist who was waved down by Borowy on the side of Sanatoga Station Road in Lower Pottsgrove.

"Officers arrived on location and they found a body on the shoulder of the road, identified as a male subject at this point in time," said Lower Pottsgrove Police Chief Michael Foltz.

An ambulance was dispatched to the location but failed to resuscitate the victim who was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later. Authorities say they believe this was not a random crime and that Borowy had been targeted by his attackers.

Investigators have not yet released any information on the manner in which the teen was killed, but say they are looking into a motive. NBC10 has reported that preliminary information suggests that drugs may have been involved in the crime.

No arrests have been made at this time and police have not released any information on descriptions or identities of the suspects. Anyone with information is asked to contact the West Pottsgrove Police Department at (610) 323-2090, the Lower Pottsgrove Police Department at (610) 326-1508 or the Montgomery County Detective Bureau at (610) 278-3368.
