Rumors of divorce have been swirling around Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi.

Just weeks ago, Celebrity Dirty Laundry ran an article about Star Magazine's cover story regarding the failing marriage of the two. According to the story, their marriage is a sham and the two have been fighting due to jealousy issues. The magazine claims that Ellen fakes her relationship with Portia for the fans and even "refuses to let Portia go out with her friends and regulates who is allowed in their house".

The magazine added, "She won't even let Portia take most of the acting jobs she's offered because she wants to be the sole breadwinner, and she's so jealous, she's fearful that Portia might fall for another woman - or even a man - on the set."

Last year, the National Enquirer, a tabloid known for spreading gossip, reported that Portia felt uncomfortable with Ellen flirting with Olivia Munn on her show.

But the television show host slammed the rumors and said, "I love her so much it kills me," referring to Portia, her wife of almost six years, according to E! Online.

She continued, "The truth is, and this is corny, I fall more in love with Portia all the time. I really do. She surprises me all the time. It's what everyone experiences when you find that person that gets you, wants to take care of you, wants the best for you. We're really lucky because we know how rare it is."

In one of her show's episodes in December of last year, the host also joked about the rumors concerning her marriage. She told the audience that while sitting at a hair salon, she saw a tabloid with her and Portia on the cover. At first, she taught the publication was honoring them but when she saw the headline, it read, "Ellen and Portia's Marriage Crumbles." Jokingly, she reacted, "Oh, what happened? They seemed so happy."

But after the audience's laughter had subsided, she told them, "There's not one ounce of truth to any of it. I am very happily married. The only thing we ever argue about is who loves who more."

She then reassured audience members that if ever she and her wife decide to call the whole thing off, she would tell them directly. She said, "If there's anything you need to know, I will announce it here first."
