There are still more than six months to go before the first part of "The Divergent Series: Allegiant" hits theaters, but the hype for the movie and its main characters are already on a high. Shailene Woodley and Theo James will both return to the third film to reprise their roles as Tris and Four respectively.

Yahoo recently caught up with James as the 30-year-old actor is promoting one of his new projects. The English actor has recently become the face of Hugo Boss' newest perfume, "Boss The Scent."

In the interview, the actor was asked about portraying a hero in the movie series, "Divergent." James is the one behind the character of Tobias "Four" Eaton, who is regarded as a hero in the series because of his decision to go against the Erudite faction that seemed to be intent on leading and manipulating the government and all existing factions.

While his character plays a pivotal part in taking on and toppling the evil and manipulative leadership of the Erudite faction, the actor admits that he has not felt like his character yet in real life.

When asked if he has ever felt like a "hero in real life," James revealed that he has not.

"I think, you know, even if I have, if I said it then I would sound like a d–khead," said the actor. "I get the concept of saying I'm like a hero, but it's kind of a tough one."

James went on to say that his parents, especially his dad and his grandfather, have a huge influence on him, making them his real life heroes.

The actor also noted that Sean Connery, Paul Newman and Steve McQueen are his role models in terms of Hollywood actors he admire.

The upcoming third film in the franchise will show a more personal and intimate love story between his character and Woodley's. At the recent VMA All Access Experience, James sat with Josh Horowitz and co-actor Miles Teller to talk about his experience kissing Woodley.

To remove any awkwardness in their kissing scene, the actor admitted that he just went "straight for it," reported MTV News.

"I just went at it hard, to be honest, because I thought that's how she wanted it," said the actor. "I thought to assuage any awkwardness I would just go for it. She was kind of batting away my hands."

James also stated that Teller was actually in the background while the scene was being shot, which he said "added to the sexuality" of the moment.

"The Divergent Series: Allegiant - Part 1" will be shown in theaters on March 18, 2016.
