It has been two years since the game's inception in September 2013, but gamers still have so much to do in "GTA 5."

Even so, Rockstar Games isn't contended. The multinational video game developer is set to infuse new contents to the game's immensely popular multiplayer mode.

"Grand Theft Auto Online" already affords gamers plenty of things to accomplish, ranging from an assortment of heists, races and total Los Santos chaos. But to the delight of "GTA 5" gamers everywhere, more will come on Sept. 15.

According to Rockstar Newswire, two new Freemode events will be added to "Grand Theft Auto Online."

First of which is "King of the Castle." It is basically GTA's version of a tower defense mode wherein players take part in turf wars to claim a "castle" and mark it as their own territory. They have to protect it well, though, since everyone else will try to take it for themselves.

Next up is "Hunt the Beast." This event has one gamer temporarily morphing into a faster beast-like creature. The "beast" must then try to evade a band of pursuers played by other gamers.

"One of these events can kick off at any given moment while in Freemode, and you can customize your session to decide exactly which ones will happen - so you can play as much or as little of this new content as you like. With countless variations on each Freemode Event, there are tons of unique new experiences, each offering new opportunities for reaping GTA$ and RP in GTA Online," Rockstar's online news portal wrote.

The update will also carry two new Adversary Modes.

Multiplayer teams are tasked to transport a priority vehicle planted with explosives in "Hunting Pack." If players drive below a minimum speed, the explosives drop and the vehicle will be blown into bits. Making matters worse albeit more fun, opponents will be chasing the vehicle and will try to ram it down.

In "Cross the Line," players form heavily armed groups and are pitted against other squads across a neutral zone. The objective of the event is for all members in the group to successfully penetrate their opponents' territory, reminiscent of multiplayer online battle arena games.

Lastly, the update will bring the highly anticipated Rockstar Editor to the Xbox One and PS4.

PC gamers, who have enjoyed the video tool long before its upcoming arrival to gaming consoles, won't be left out. The update will upgrade the Rockstar Editor on PC with new features including "ambient audio and sound effects library, Snapmatic integration, Director Mode updates and more."

"Grand Theft Auto Online" is accessible on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
