Prince Harry is reportedly thinking of getting back together with ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy. According to a recent report, that's another reason why Harry has been in Africa for the past months aside from his wildlife projects.

A friend who's believed to be close to the ex-couple told The Sun (via Hello Magazine) that Harry still has his heart set on Chelsy. The ex-couple, who dated for seven years, reportedly even had a secret meeting when the prince was in South Africa over the summer while working on his wildlife conservation project.

"Harry still holds a candle for her. They saw each other recently. There's still very much something between them," the unnamed friend told The Sun.

According to the source, the 30-year old prince still has feelings for Chelsy and that he "has never fallen out of love" with her. That's why he is reportedly considering a reunion with her and friends have learned of the pair "openly discussing" a meet up later this year.

It is believed Chelsy and Harry have plans to reconcile when he returns to Lesotho and South Africa for some charity events. The source further claimed that it's one of the reasons why Harry has decided to spend more time in Africa.

However, the ex-couple are reportedly not getting back together just yet. OK! Magazine also quoted the friend's claims, saying "Chelsy won't commit yet because she doesn't want to lead a life in the spotlight." According to the source, Harry respects Chelsy's decision and told The Sun that he's "very sensitive to that."

Even after their breakup in 2011 and getting into a two-year relationship with Cressida Bonas, Harry reportedly has "never fallen out of love with Chelsy." According to the source, the prince fancies Chelsy's take-charge personality and considers her different from other girls.

"She's not like other girls; she's strong, independent, and a rule-breaker. She does everything on her own terms," the source told The Sun.

Harry and Chelsy reportedly met in 2004 in Cape Town and Chelsy was introduced to Queen Elizabeth II four years after, when she attended the wedding of Harry's cousin Peter Phillips to Autumn Kelly. They dated on-and-off for seven years.

It's believed Harry and Chelsy parted ways after the Zimbabwean national realized that she is not up for the life of princess. Hello Magazine claimed it was during Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding in 2011 that she called it quits with Harry after realizing that she doesn't want to be under the spotlight anymore.
