Following the breakup of One Direction member Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner, sources close to the two stars open up about their relationship and the reasons behind their split.

According to Belfast Telegraph, a source told the British magazine "Heat" that Kendall was not expecting to receive loads of attention because of her relationship with Harry. The insider said, "Harry and Kendall's romance has been slowly fizzling out since he left LA - in fact they didn't see each other for a week before he left. Kendall was overwhelmed by the attention they got - and that she got from One Direction fans."

But while Kendall was feeling overwhelmed, Harry, on the other hand, was starting to lose interest in his girlfriend's projects. Regarding his absence during Kendall's London fashion show, the insider explained, "When Kendall came to London, Harry purposefully took a step back as he wanted it to be her time and didn't want to distract from it. He's also admitted that he got a bit bored with the whole thing."

Apart from their personal reasons, Kendall and Harry's breakup was also the result of their busy schedules, especially on the part of the 1D member.

"It's nearly impossible for him to maintain a relationship at the moment. The next couple of months will be busy with tour rehearsals and work on a new album in the U.K., then One Direction are off on another world tour," the source said.

But even though they have broken up, there is still a chance that the two young stars will be seen hanging out together in the near future. After all, there was no bad-blood following their split and the two are still in contact with each other.

Also, the Examiner reported that Harry and his band member Niall Horan are currently in the process of buying a house in the Los Angeles area, Kendall's hometown.

For Harry, L.A. is a place where he can take a break from the hassles of being famous. In an article on People Magazine, a source said, "He loves California and despite being massive in the U.S., he randomly gets hassled less when he's in L.A."
