Scarlett Johansson is one of the most highly anticipated cast members of the upcoming "Avengers 2" or also dubbed as "Avengers: Age of Ultron." But with her shocking revelation of pregnancy, many are wondering how it will affect the film production.

It was Monday when the actress broke the news and that she is due by August. The filming, on the other hand, for "Avengers 2" is set to start in April. Johansson will return as the Black Widow, the Epoch Times reports.

A claim from a close source shared with E!News that the superhero movie sequel will rearrange its schedule by fast-tracking the actress' scenes. Originally, she is scheduled to shoot overseas for the movie on April 5, right after she finishes her "Captain America" promotional tour.

The Oscar-nominated actress' pregnancy broke out six months after her announcement of engagement with French boyfriend who works as a journalist. ScarJo even showed off her Art Deco styled engagement ring during the Venice Film Festival.

The "Avengers 2" will be directed by Joss Whedon and set to hit the big screen on May 1, 2015. Information on the sequel's story still remains few but several reports have led to James Spader playing the role of Ultron and Thomas Kretschmann as another villain by the name of Baron Wolfgang von Strucker, Ace Showbiz states.

The producer of the sequel, Kevin Faige also made a revelation that the story of the "Avengers 2" will give a stronger sense of importance to the character that ScarJo will play since the movie will explore the character's background.

"We learn more about her past and learn more about where she came from and how she became in that film," the producer added.

Other casts who will return as their original characters in the first movie include Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Elizabeth Olsen as the Scarlet Witch, Aaron Johnson as Quicksilver, Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Chris Evans as Captain America.
