The Blade Runner murder trial continues on, and today there was even more controversy during the murder trial: not only did the judge yell at journalists for showing a witness's face during testimony (which is not permitted in South Africa), but Pistorius cried during the witness's testimony!

According to CNN, Pistorius' neighbor Michelle Burger took the stand during this second day of trial. She testified that she heard screams, followed by four gunshots, on the night that Pistorius killed his girlfriend, model Reeva Steenkamp.

Pistorius's attorney, Barry Roux, called Burger's testimony into question, because he claimed that her testimony was too similar to that of her husband's -- Roux even went so far as to break down the two testimonies paragraph by paragraph. Burger, however, was unmoved, and claimed that she and her husband had similar testimonies because they heard similar things. "I'm as honest as I can be to the court," she said.

Furthermore, according to the New York Daily News, when Roux told the court that Steenkamp couldn't have screamed "after a bullet pierced her skull," Pistorius broke out in hysterical tears -- the first display of emotion from the "Blade Runner" since the trial began. The Daily News called it "an Oscar worthy performance."

The trial of Oscar Pistorius is taking place in South Africa; it started on Monday. Oscar Pistorius is a leading South African runner, who won attention as an athlete with a disability competing at a high level, including multiple Paralympic Games and the 2012 Summer Olympics. His girlfriend was Reeva Steenkamp, a model and television personality. In the early morning of Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, Steenkamp was shot and killed by Pistorius at his Pretoria home. Pistorius was taken into police custody and was formally charged with murder in a Pretoria court on Feb. 15.
