Olivia Wilde is speaking out about her feelings on the recent attacks against Hillary Clinton, calling the remarks "pure sexism."

The 31-year-old actress is standing up for the Democratic presidential candidate, who she says is being unfairly treated due to her gender.

"It's pure sexism," she told The Daily Beast. "This bullsh*t about her not seeming 'warm' enough is pure misogyny. It's ridiculous. I think she's one of the loveliest, most personable politicians I've ever met -- much warmer than other politicians, in fact. That's pure sexism."

Instead of making ignorant judgments based on the fact Clinton is a woman, Wilde thinks prospective voters should familiarize themselves with the former first lady's stances on issues and her previous experience as a politician.

"She's an incredibly skilled debater and her intelligence and experience speaks for itself," Wilde said. "That's the thing about Hillary -- when people stop scheming to take her down with bullsh*t, her actual resume speaks for itself."

The actress has expressed her support for Clinton in the presidential race for the past few months. Back in June, Wilde even introduced Clinton at a campaign event. In addition, Wilde has previously defended Clinton on Twitter against criticism, especially when it came to her infamous leaked emails.

Wilde is set to star in the Mick Jagger and Martin Scorsese-produced HBO rock drama "Vinyl," set to air in January 2016. The show follows a New York music executive in the late 1970s.

She also recently resumed filming on several movies. In "Black Dog, Red Dog," she stars alongside Jack McLaughlin, Chloe Sevigny, James Franco and Whoopi Goldberg. "Love the Coopers," which is due out on Nov. 13, features Wilde along with Amanda Seyfried, John Goodman, Anthony Mackie, Diane Keaton, Ed Helms and Marisa Tomei.
