Carlos Boozer, a playoff contender, is currently without an NBA team and is still finding the best team that fits him. Apparently, he has a lot of time on his hands and was a guest on ESPN's "Highly Questionable" with Dan Le Batard and Bomani Jones.

The duo went into a deep discussion about a certain event involving Boozer back on Feb. 12, 2012, when he was still a member of the Chicago Bulls against the Boston Celtics. They asked what was going on with his hair that day as he showed up with a shiny, full hair.

"Oh man. Man, listen, as you can tell, I started losing my hair. They came out with like a hair dye for men called 'bigen.' Well, I had one guy that said, 'Have you thought about growing your hair out?' And I was like, yeah, I was thinking about it, until I saw some of these little bald spots on my head," Boozer said as quoted by SB Nation.

"And so he was telling me, you know 'grow your hair out, I could cover it up a little bit, and make it look like you got a regular haircut.' So I tried it, and he just made myself look like shoe polish up there. This is like five years later, and I'm still hearing about it," he added.

Boozer also said that it took more than seven showers to get rid of the dye on his hair. He is cool with it but said that it was a mistake. The 33-year-old power forward also revealed that during and after the game, his teammates and opponents Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce made fun of him. They mocked him that a marker was used on painting the hair on his head, per Yahoo! Sports.

The report added that it was not all bad in the game against the Celtics even though they lost by four points. Boozer had a great game, scoring 22 points and grabbing seven rebounds.

The two-time all-star is currently a free agent and has last played for the Los Angele Lakers. He averaged 11.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per game in 71 games last season, according to Basketball-Reference.com. He was drafted sixth in the second round of the 2002 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Boozer played his career best with the Utah Jazz from 2004 to 2009 before signing with the Chicago Bulls in 2010. He was released by the Bulls in 2014 using the amnesty clause, per NBA.com.
