Peter Mayhew has revealed details about the new cast of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

During an interview with Bmag.com, the actor talked about his experience with John Boyega and Daisy Ridley and even compared them with the prequel actors.

He said, “John, I liked very very much. He’s a great actor. We had several scenes together, and John is one of those guys who knows how to react to any situation. He’s got a marvelous face … he’s got a wonderful personality. He has an advantage because he has a comic’s sense of humour.”

He added that Ridley reminded him of Natalie Portman and also said that she will eventually be more relaxed about the fandom once the films come out. He said, “Daisy … was a little bit solid. More Natalie [Portman] on the other movies [the prequels].”

Mayhew has been quiet throughout and has not been doing many interviews about the film. With the movie a month away, most of the actors will be doing promotion and more interviews. No word on when preview screenings will begin but Disney is definitely waiting until after the release of “The Good Dinosaur.”

The new “Star Wars” has been a mystery for a while as no plot details have been released and the trailers reveal little about the story or about the characters. J.J. Abrams, who directed the movie has refused to reveal anything about Luke Skywalker as the character has not appeared in any promotional material. Disney is promoting the film with its merchandising initiatives and even created Force Friday when "The Force Awakens” toys were released.

The new film is slated to star Ridley, Mayhew, Boyega, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver and Lupita Nyong’o. The movie will be released on Dec. 17 and is expected to break records.
