"Saturday Night Live" has released a series of promos for its show on Saturday, Nov. 7, featuring Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

In the promo video cast member Cecily Strong introduces Trump as the host of this week's "SNL," joking that due to FCC regulations the political candidate could only appear for less than four seconds.

Other gags revolved around Trump choosing between Cicily and cast member Jay Pharoah for his running mate, and Trump utilizing his limited four seconds on air to call fellow candidate Ben Carson "a complete and total loser."

"SNL's" choice to invite Donald Trump was met with much controversy. Many were surprised that NBC would sign off on the decision after the network cut ties with the billionaire and former star of the hit reality show, "The Apprentice," in light of his prejudiced statements against Mexican immigrants.

Many Latino and pro-immigration organizations were particularly angry at the decision, calling for SNL producer Lorne Michaels to change his mind.

According to the New York Times, a union of the country's leading Latino groups will stage a protest on Wednesday outside of 30 Rockefeller Plaza, where SNL is taped. They also gathered over 460,000 signatures in a petition urging NBC studios to reverse their invitation.

The Congressional Hispanic Caucus also issued a statement asking for SNL "to disinvite Mr. Trump."

"When a TV personality calls Mexicans and Latinos criminals and rapists, a corporate network should not give him 90 minutes of free airtime in an entertainment venue without his first apologizing to the American people," said Democratic Representative Luis V. Gutiérrez. "Did I miss an apology?"

In an interview with CNN's Chris Cuomo, Trump bragged that his distanced relationship with NBC would not deter the network from inviting him because he gets ratings.

"You're never at war when you get great ratings with a network," said Trump. "Nobody gets ratings like me. Do you think you would have had 24 and 25 million people watching CNN and watching Fox? Do you think -- if Rubio was there you would have had two people watching," he said of the CNN Republican debate.
