Rumors are circulating Rihanna has squashed her relationship with rapper boyfriend Travis Scott in order to devote more time to her upcoming album.

IBTimes reports, as work on her album "Anti" intensifies, the sultry songstress has decided she has "no time for a romance." She has reportedly pulled the plug on things with Scott, after spending the last several months openly cavorting with him.

"He wanted her every second of the day and even wanted her to travel with him for his show," a source said. "While all the need for her attention is flattering it eventually became too much for her to handle. He is just too needy so she broke things off with him."

Word is Scott also grew to become "too possessive" of the "Diamonds" singer, though their relationship was rumored to come with "no strings attached."

Reports are the singer has already pushed back the scheduled release date for her album because she did not want it to hit the market on Nov. 20, the same day as the release of Adele's new album "25."

Rihanna and Scott are believed to have become an item soon after she ended her brief romance with Formula One racing champ Lewis Hamilton earlier this year.

In September, reports surfaced that, despite dating Scott, Rihanna still feels Chris Brown is "the love of her life" and hasn't completely closed the door on a possible reconciliation.

"Rihanna knows Chris would treat her right this time around," a source told Hollywood Life. "She can feel it and they've talked about it. But Rihanna always felt she could feel a man's soul by kissing him. Chris was the best kisser she's ever had. She could tell if he were lying about something or being 100-percent sincere by kissing him."
