Fans continue to guess which new playable characters will be added to Mortal Kombat X through downloadable content (DLC). A new Kombat Pack is coming soon and four characters that are for sure not coming to the game are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

A second set of DLC characters are coming to Mortal Kombat X and one fan asked Mortal Kombat creator if these characters would include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Design & Trend reports.

Ed Boon, Mortal Kombat's creator, responded to the fan on Twitter who asked if any of the Ninja Turtles would make it into Mortal Kombat X.

Normally, Boon is very vague and mysterious when revealing any details about the game, but he answered a quick "no" to this fan's question.

The fan's question was not too out of the ordinary. Fans learned that a Kombat Pack 2 would be coming out in September and they have been guessing ever since which characters would be added to the game's roster of fighters. Characters from movies like "Indiana Jones," Neo from "The Matrix" and The Joker from "Batman" have all been suggested as playable fighters for Mortal Kombat X.

The Kombat Pack 2 will include at least four new playable characters, new player skins and one new fighting arena. It is possible that the Kombat Pack 2 comes with more than just four new characters.

Other Mortal Kombat fans have suggested that guest characters not be included. Instead, these fans prefer that story mode characters and characters from previous Mortal Kombat games be added. These characters include Rain, Sindel, Baraka and Smoke.

The next set of DLC materials are expected to arrive sometime in 2016.
