There will be a short hiatus for "Blue Bloods" this week and the show will come back next month. But fans can rest assured that the next episode will be well worth the wait when Danny must account for the actions of an old partner.

Episode 10, titled "Flags of Our Fathers," will air on broadcast network CBS Friday, Dec. 11 at 10 p.m. EST, according to the CBS website.

Following all the uncertainty leftover from the last episode about Frank Reagan, the next episode is about to put another Reagan into hot water (Danny) as he must find a way to clear an ex-partner's name, or at least avoid his name getting dragged through the mud.

According to Spoilers Guide, the next episode will find Danny on the receiving end of an interrogation by an investigator with the District Attorney's office. But it is not him they are after, but rather an ex-partner who is accused of planting evidence.

Even though Danny will find the interrogation to leave a sour taste in his mouth, he will tough it out. His ex-partner is accused of planting the evidence in order to expedite the closing of a homicide investigation. But not all is what it seems and Danny may find himself defending a guilty man.

There will also be a situation that Frank must face that will somehow put him at the center of national politics. That issue will be the extent of free speech protections granted by the U.S. Constitution. This comes when a radical group of anti-government protesters make threats to publicly burn an American flag.

According to Fox 411, Frank was the centerpiece of the last episode when he was faced with, in multiple press conferences, answering the question as to whether or not he will be staying on as commissioner during the Mayor's next term. Of course he had to juggle and dodge the questions at each press event.
