Miranda Lambert is not pleased with all the reports coming out about her divorce with husband Blake Shelton. The country singer released a statement telling people to stop spreading false stories about their split since they are also human bound to feel hurt.

Lambert got candid about her feelings towards news of her divorce from Shelton in her cover interview for the January 2016 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine. She told the publication that she has moved on from the split and holds no grudge against Shelton. So people should likewise do the same and not pick any sides.

"We are real people with real lives and real s - - t. We're both very honest. This is what it is now, and we're moving forward. We don't need all the opinions. We just need y'all to be supportive, and nobody pick a side - because there ain't a side," she said.

The 32-year-old also lashed back at all the negative opinions directed towards their divorce. She revealed women in her family doesn't put up with all the "s**t." Instead, they would rather just offer a hug or a sweet tea and unconditional love.

Lambert also looked back at her 10-year relationship with Shelton before their marriage and their four years spent as husband and wife. She said she and Shelton tried to work out their marriage. But despite the heartache, Lambert said she and her ex-husband still remain friends.

The singer also told Cosmopolitan about what she's been going through since the divorce. She revealed that for now she is "still processing everything and figuring out where to go and what happened." That's why marriage is not an option for her at the moment.

It's been rumored that Lambert was to blame for the divorce. She had reportedly cheated on Shelton with his best friend Jamey Johnson and with other men, including one of her employees. A source claimed Shelton initiated the divorce after learning of his wife's affairs with "five other men." However, friends of Lambert insisted these allegations are nothing but rumors meant to destroy her image.

Shelton and Lambert announced their split in July. While Lambert has remained unattached since the divorce, Shelton has moved on to another relationship. The 39-year-old is dating his fellow "The Voice" coach Gwen Stefani, who is seven years older than him. Stefani is also recently single after divorcing Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale in August.
