Twitter suspended the account of George Zimmerman, after the self-admitted killer of Florida teen Trayvon Martin, after he launched into an angry tirade targeting an ex-girlfriend he accused of sleeping with a Muslim.

In addition to accusing her of stealing money and a gun from him, the New York Daily News reports Zimmerman tweeted that a girlfriend, whom he referred to only as Heather, slept with a "dirty Muslim." According to the newspaper, Zimmerman also later posted the woman's phone number. He told over 15,000 followers, "She'll sleep with anyone."

The tweets and his account were later deleted by Twitter officials. The company has since referred to its stated policies as justification for the deletion.

In his postings, Zimmerman also displayed "semi-nude" pictures of the woman, and some are speculating he could soon face stalking or harassment charges.

Zimmerman was acquitted in the 2012 killing of the unarmed Martin, despite first confronting the teen, who Zimmerman admitted he thought looked suspicious because he was walking through the gated community neighborhood wearing a hoodie.

Since then, Zimmerman has had several run-ins with the law, including violent episodes with ex-wife Shellie and several other girlfriends. In one incident in Apopka, Florida, a girlfriend accused him of pointing a shotgun at her face and smashing a coffee table with the butt of the gun at the height of a domestic dispute.

The woman in question was later identified as 27-year-old Samantha Scheibe, Zimmerman's live-in girlfriend, whom some reports indicated may have been pregnant at the time.

Zimmerman was later taken into custody and was forced to post $9,000 bail, before being released and claiming his then girlfriend "went crazy."

More recently, Zimmerman retweeted pictures of Martin's corpse without consequence. At the time of his death, the 17-year-old Martin was believed to be walking back from a convenience store to his father's nearby residence.
