Trapped Manatees Update: Florida Rescuers Save Nearly Two Dozen Manatees Stuck in a Storm Drain

Local authorities and animal rescue teams on Monday freed 19 manatees who had gotten stuck after swimming into a Florida town's storm drain. The operation took rescuers hours, and they had to cut the drain pipe in order to save the last of the giant marine mammals also known as sea cows.
