Apple is expected to make the first batch of 2017 iMacs VR ready. The new iMacs will also feature AMD Radeon Polaris graphics chips in a bid to improve gaming experience and performance on iMacs.
On Wednesday, Apple introduced updates to the iMac line of computers, bringing the Retina display to the smallest iMac, the 21.5-inch model, for the first time. Now every iMac has a Retina display of some sort, though there are still important differences between the different-sized iMacs.
The MacBook Air is one Apple's most popular laptops, but continual calls for a screen resolution bump, as well as other minor tweaks have gone unanswered.
