A Jenni Rivera fan combined a video of the late regional Mexican music singer with British star Adele's hit single "Hello," and the result is surprisingly good.

The video, which has gone viral since posted by Omar Vela on Facebook, features the Mexican star's video for her song "Basta Ya" and Adele's song "Hello."

It was edited to feature the same color tone that the video for "Hello" has popularized. While Rivera's mouth and the lyrics to "Hello" don't always match up, the effect is perfect when the two sync. Considering that both singers boast strong vocals, the mash up makes sense.

In other Rivera news, the singer's sister Rosie Rivera revealed that this year there won't be a great public tribute to her sister, reported Diario Rotativo. Rosie Rivera was left in charge of Jenni Rivera's estate and youngest children, after a plane crash killed the iconic star.

Rivera died on Dec. 9, 2012, and with only a few days left before the anniversary of her death, and no news about the tribute, fans began to wonder whether the star's career wouldn't be celebrated this year, as it has been in the past.

According to Rosie Rivera, the family will pay tribute to the legendary star, but it will be a private affair at the request of her children.

"I kind of have wanted to avoid it, I called the kids and I don't know, we are planning something more private, just family," Rosie Rivera said. "The children asked us for that day to be just for them and we respect that and we said 'whatever you want, if you want to be alone or with us [the family], whatever you want.' It is a difficult day and if they want to mourn let them mourn however they want and if they want to laugh also they can laugh with beautiful memories, whatever they want."
