A new DLC for Assassin's Creed Syndicate is arriving next week. The trailer for Jack the Ripper has been released.

According to GameSpot, the upcoming content pack is set two decades after the events that happened in Assassin's Creed Syndicate. It follows Evie Frye, one of the main protagonists, who's on a mission to hunt and stop one of the "most mysterious killers" in history, the report noted.

"Twenty years after Jacob and Evie liberated London from the grasp of Starrick's Templars, Scotland Yard is unable to catch the serial killer, Detective Abberline is calling upon Evie Frye to put an end to the Ripper's terror," the post on official PlayStation blog further explained.

However, this will be a difficult challenge for Evie Frye. Apparently, The Ripper seems to be equipped with the same skills as the Assassin, Asia PC Mag noted.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate, developed by Ubisoft, was initially released on Oct. 23. The historical open world action-adventure video game is set in 1868 during the Industrial Revolution in London.

It features twin assassins, Jacob and Evie Frye, as they fight for the freedom of the oppressed workers.

"With Jacob as the leader, players can establish UK's fiercest gang, the only force that can challenge the elite and defeat rival gangs to bring freedom to the oppressed folks," the game description on official Assassin's Creed website read. "Enemy strongholds can be infiltrated by using an arsenal to dominate London's underworld. From robbing trains to rescuing child workers, players will do everything they can to bring justice to London's lawless streets," the summary continued.
