Movie and TV junkies looking to purchase an Android tablet this holiday season should strongly consider getting the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2. That's because the Korean tech giant is now throwing in free one year subscription to Netflix for every purchase of the said device. The promotion is valid until next Saturday, Dec. 26.

The eight-inch Galaxy Tab S2 and the 9.7-inch Galaxy Tab S2 contain mostly the same set of features. Specs include the Android Lollipop OS upgradeable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, an octa-core Exynos 5433 chipset, 3GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal memory, per GSMArena.

The Super AMOLED screens may have different sizes but their resolution is the same: 1536 x 2048 pixels. Both tablets have the same eight-megapixel back camera and two-megapixel front-facing snapper. Their batteries are of different sizes: 4,000 mAh for the Tab S2 8.0 and 5,870 mAh for the Tab S2 9.7.

Electronics retailer Adorama is selling the larger variant of the Tab S2 for only $360. The tablet if offered in white or black. The purchase will be delivered free for customers residing in mainland U.S. Possible buyers in Alaska, Hawaii, Canada and Europe will have to dole out cash for their orders. Meanwhile, those in New Jersey and New York can skip sales tax.

The Tab S2 is one of the most top-tier tablets out in the market today. It has been widely praised for its display, processing power and super slim 5.6-millimeter body.

Matt Swider of TechRadar calls the tablet a reading and web surfing-friendly device. The tech reviewer pointed out that its shape and size is perfect for every tablet-related activity except for watching videos, which some customers might find very beneficial.

The Tab S2 has strong multitasking capabilities that rival iOS 9 as well as new features brought in by the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The tablet carries only a few upgrades over its predecessor, the Tab S from 2014, but it can still go head-to-head with Apple's iPad Air 2.
