Azealia Banks was arrested for allegedly punching and biting a female security guard outside of a Manhattan nightclub on Wednesday, Dec. 16.

The 24-year-old "Heavy Metal And Reflective" singer was charged with third-degree assault after the altercation went down, according to Rolling Stone.

Banks was reportedly denied entry into a private party at the Up&Down club. When turned away from the party she started "screaming at the top of her lungs, cursing," Page Six reports. She also hurled several racial slurs at the bouncers. The club's owner eventually gave her permission to enter the club, but "once she was 15 feet inside she starts to curse at the guards again, explaining who she was, that she's on Rihanna's album."

A female security guard finally took it upon herself to remove Banks from the club, but in doing so the rapper allegedly spit on her and was "biting her in the boob." After this Banks threatened to "call the cops" she was arrested after allegedly punching the female security guard in front of the police.

Later Banks was arraigned and released on her own recognizance. The rapper has yet to comment on the incident through social media.

This is only the most recent dispute with authorities Banks has had in recent months. Back in October she was involved in an incident at Los Angeles' Break Room 86 where she got in a confrontation with a security guard and was asked to leave the club. While leaving the club Banks reportedly threatened to pull the fire alarm and even got physical with the guard. In November LAPD investigated Banks for criminal battery and assault in relation to this episode.

Banks released her debut album, "Broke With Expensive Taste," on Nov. 7, 2014. The album produced the singles "Yung Rapunxel," "Heavy Metal and Reflective," "Chasing Time" and "Ice Princess."
